Let us know if you might be willing to volunteer to help the FoVG. We have many activities that need help from distributing song books and kazoos at the 4th of July celebration, helping with events, weeding in the Preserve, creating newsletters, or arranging the FoVG archives. Let us know if we can contact you to help however you wish.
We need volunteers to help produce Villa Grande's 33rd consecutive Independence Day celebration. If you can help set up, distribute song books, kazoos, help sell drinks, or merchandise for a half hour or hour, we could really use your help. Schedule: Set up: 3:30 p.m. Town Square: distribute kazoos & song programs 4:00 p.m, Independence Ceremony: 4:30. Kids' Kazoo Khorus 4:45 p.m.. Hubbub March through Town: 5:00: Dance Party with Red, White & Brew: 5:30- 8:30 p.m. Breakdown: 8:30 and next day.. Requested donation: $5.00 (includes a kazoo!)
We invite all members to the annual Membership Meeting and Reception. There will be reports on "the state of the organization" including financial reports, accomplishments throughout the year, and plans for the future. We would like to hear from our members any ideas and suggestions for improvements. Free refreshments. A free event for members and potential members.
Board of Director Meetings are normally held the second Wednesday of very month from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This is a special meeting to elect Officers immediately following the annual membership meeting, approximately 6 p.m.
