Town Hall Meeting on Drainage in Villa Grande: July 3, 4-6 p.m. Firehouse Plaza
Villa Grande roads need repair and repaving, but draining and ponding issues need to be addressed first. In 2019 FoVG wrote a grant that was matched with County funds to create a drainage survey of Villa Grande and prepare recommendations to address the problems. That survey report was the basis of grant requests for FEMA Flood Mitigation and FEMA Hazard Mitigation funds.
On July 3, at 4 p.m., Dept. of Public Infrastruture (DPI) Engineer Yoash Tilles and other DPI staff will present the findings of the drainage survey and will review the repairs that will occur if/when FEMA funds are available. The report is available here for downloading.
